Dun Classes With Monica Hofer

We are excited to offer a class on the basics of African Dun. Monica will instruct participants in basic rhythms and introduce them to the instrument.

Beyond Beginner African Hand Drumming Classes

This series is intended for people who already have some djembe drumming experience. Participants will explore more complex rhythms.

Beginner African Hand Drumming

Explore African rhythms with Monica Hofer. The djembe drum originated in West Africa nearly 1000 years ago and is a popular instrument in drumming circles. No prior musical or drumming experience is needed to take this class.

The act of drumming is about more than creating rhythms, it is also about connecting with the drumming community, relieving stress, exercising your brain, and simply enjoying the music.
