Try something new on a Pro-D day this year!  Brought to you by Arrowsmith Agricultural Association, with support from ACRA, these workshops offer youth aged 8-12 the chance to learn by doing. Skilled community volunteers will share their experience with a new generation in the hopes of inspiring a life-long passion for something new, and at the very least, a new art form and the confidence to go forward and try something new.

As an added bonus, all topics are examples of what can be entered in the 2026 Coombs Fair! 

Don't miss these Pro-D workshops: 

• Fall Baking - make some apple-themed treats.
• Fine Arts: Halloween Edition -make a spooky craft & carve a pumpkin. 
• Fibre Arts - get creative with coloured dye.
• Holiday Baking - make a variety of baked goods
• Cake Decorating - create a Valentine's Day-themed cake.
• Woodworking & Gardening - Build a small planter box, plant seeds and learn about gardening in this 2 day workshop. 
• Fine Arts: Sculpture - try a variety of artforms in this workshop and explore your creativity.

All experience levels welcome. Materials will be provided. 

Participants must pack their own lunch.
