This class focuses on keeping your body fit and building muscle. Your whole body will be engaged while Instructor Shanan leads you through muscle-building exercises using resistance bands and aerobic activities that get your heart pumping. This class also includes a number of balance-improving exercises and concludes with a stretching period.
Higher-intensity and lower-intensity options will be provided so that you can work at pace that is comfortable for you. This class is intended for those 50+.
Most equipment provided. Participants are asked to bring their own yoga/exercise mat, if you wish to participate in floor exercises. A chair option will also be available for those who would prefer a seated version.
