Fibre arts mini workshop series

This mini series aims to establish a love for fibre arts for children ages 8 - 12. Instructors Katherine and Diane share their joy for needle-felting, while teaching participants the basics for this skill. Workshop topics include:

• Jan 9: How to use the cookie-cutter method to needle felt ornaments.
• Jan 16: Create a needle-felted picture and learn to incorporate details into projects.
• Jan 23: Create a small needed-felted animal.

All equipment is provided. Students will leave with their own felting needle and block so that they can continue to do projects on their own at home. The goal of these workshops is to build confidence, try new techniques and create a number of simple projects. 

No prior experience needed.
